To All Customers,
Amid all the closures and concerns surrounding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic we hope you and your loved ones are safe! Governor Hogan recently announced closure of many additional businesses, however, we do not fall into those categories. Therefore, Atlantic Lighting & Irrigation is still installing, servicing and providing estimates to all our customers, at this time.
The services we provide our customers are primarily outside. We’ve also taken many precautions and are altering how we conduct some of our services to protect our employees and our community:
- Our employees are practicing social distancing and are regularly washing hands, we ask that you do the same if we need to interact with you at your home or business.
- If our Techs (and Plumbers if applicable) need to enter your home or business they will:
- Do so while practicing social distancing
- Remove shoes or wear shoe covers
- Wear protective gloves (as supplies last)
- Touch only the items necessary for your irrigation system (i.e. controller and plumbing/water shutoff valves)
- During demo of new installations, we will maintain social distancing practices and ask you to do the same.
- Once service and/or new system installation is completed you shouldn’t need to touch anything we have touched (i.e. controller and/or interior plumbing & shutoff valves), as we will setup the watering program per your requested schedule and leave it in the RUN or OFF Position, whichever you prefer.
For SPRING START UP appointments only:
- If you prefer to turn on the irrigation water supply inside yourself (and know how to) instead of having our Tech go inside, please do not do so until after our Tech arrives. Simply advise him from your door and our Tech will let you know when the backflow prevention device is ready for you to turn on the water.
In the event that we are ordered to close:
- Our office staff will work remotely from home and regularly monitor voicemail and return calls.
- If you need to reach us, PLEASE CALL 410-721-4070 and leave a message – we WILL return your call in a timely manner.
- We will reschedule all installs and service appointments as quickly as possible.
